November SCC Meeting Minutes

Business Items
I. Meeting Minutes-
Approve the meeting minutes from our last meeting. Will Approve minutes in January meeting.
II. Digital Citizenship plan
Ed Tech provided lessons for each class.
NetSmarts assembly coming in January.
There is a bulletin board in the school and will be a scavenger hunt at Parent Teacher Conferences.
Kaati has materials for a parent discussion guide.
Travis made a motion to approve the Digital Citizenship Plan, Kaati seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
III. Cell phone policy plan
It was suggested to add a provision to the Policy for watches that can text and call.
Kurt motioned to approve the policy with the watch addition, Jon seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
IV. Plans for SNAP Plan
The council will check the walking routes and report next meeting.
V. Budget review
No new items.
VI. Monthly Drills
Bomb threat and evacuation drills were performed this month.
An intruder alert drill will happen for just staff next month.
