Review draft of Land Trust and TSSP Plan

Language:

To meet these goals: students will be progressed monitored, collaboration meetings, walkthrough for LETRS and Teacher Clarity, Lexia

• $19,000 for 2 interventionalist
• $3000 for Teacher PD
  • Teachers would rather use this money to help pay for another teacher if needed instead of PD days
• $9600 ML interventionalist

Math:

To meet goals: monitor, progress monitoring, collaboration meeting with Data Dives

• 2 math interventionist
• I-Ready $6000
  • Working on writing a grant to cover the remaining fee
  • Could we possibly pull funds from cell towers or a fundraiser?

School Climate Goals:

• Absences
  • 21 students considered severe (20 and above absences) throughout the school
    • Human Centered Supports-district will approve a new content called, “Thrive Time: Skills for Success” this will be implemented as part of morning routine. Will begin in kindergarten and continue through middle school. This is replacing Second Steps.
      • By implementing this, teachers will establish a school climate where kids want to come, which in turn will reduce absences.
    • Board will vote on this program in the Spring to determine if it will be implemented.
  • Continue to create climate of students wanting to be at school by:
    • Using Mr. Potato heads
    • All students participate in Thrive Time, 6 units in total
      • Measure this by doing walk throughs

Budget:

• Teachers got $300 for class rewards
  • Incentives for 10-day rewards $4700 for students who are consistently here
    • PBIS rewards $1500-2200
  • CEO Awards,
    • 100% of students will be acknowledged

If we have additional funds, we will use it for the following:

• 16 iPads/Computer- $4800
• ML Materials
• 95% Materials (in conjunction with Wonders)
• Thrive Time Materials
• Teacher PD- Benchmark Data $3000

1 Teacher Salary $82,426.52

.5 Teacher Salary $41,213.26

.4 School Counselor (they will be in supporting teachers with Thrive Time, they will also work in making home visits and making plans with severe absences.)  $36,000-38,000 

Misc.

• Land trust projecting $53,000 TSSP is roughly about the same, $45,000 in Cell Towers
• Cell tower can’t be used to pay teacher salary
• SCC Fundraiser-can’t be used to pay teacher salary
• Voted Alyssa Andrus in, replacing Suzy as new SCC committee member
