  • SCC council approved Amanda McDonald as Vice chair

Land Trust & TSSP  Plan

  • 2023-24 year
    • Will maintain all current teachers
    • Loosing ½ contract special needs teacher
    • Loosing ½ school counselor
    • Kindergarten projecting 88 students
      • Encourage community to enroll students ASAP to bring numbers up so Deidre can hire a kindergarten teacher
    • Budget- ELA
      • 2 interventionist (Land Trust)
      • ML (TSSP)
      • 3 classroom interventionist for 2nd and 5th grade (Land Trust)
      • Teacher PD 2 half days (TSSP)
        • Total $48480 (Land Trust)/ $12696 (TSSP)
      • Budget- Math
        • 2 math interventionist (TSSP)
        • iReady software (TSSP)
          • Total 23,892 (TSSP)
        • Budget- School Climate
          • Class attendance rewards (TSSP) $300 per teacher
          • Incentives for 10-day rewards (TSSP) $2,000
          • MTSS interventionist (TSSP) $ 12,896
            • This person will support the school counselor because we don’t have funds for ½ school counselor
          • Total $19,686 (TSSP)

          • TSSP $62,103/ Used $48,480
          • Land Trust $50,700/ Used $56,274

Additional Thoughts on Land Trust & TSSP Plan:

  • Continue to have teachers be mindful of those students who are already above benchmark, continue to work with them to help them achieve additional goals
  • Use cell phone towers to pay the $4700 for class incentive rewards & $4700 for iReady software instead of the TSSP budget.
  • Use the TSSP budget to hire another interventionist
