September 2020 SCC Meeting Minutes

Attendees: Deidre Schoenfeld, Kurt Stevens, Kaati Tarr, Deidre Walbeck, Margot Bishop, Sharon Rasmussen, Jon Williams, Travis Holt, Maxine Dee 

I.  Meeting minutes
Kurt made a motion to approve the minutes from the previous SSC meeting, Jon seconded the motion, and they were approved unanimously.

 II.  New members
Kaati made a motion to approve Sharon Rasmussen as a new teacher member of the SCC, Margot seconded the motion, and it was approved unanimously.

 III.  Set SCC meeting calendar

  • September 17, 2020 – 4:00 PM
  • October 8, 2020
  • November 12, 2020
  • January 14, 2021
  • February 11, 2021
  • March 11, 2021
  • April 15, 2021
  • May 6, 2021

    Margot made a motion to approve the proposed meeting schedule with all meetings starting at 4pm and having both in person and virtual attendance options. Jon seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.

IV.  SCC leadership realignment
Deidre Walbeck will gauge interest in new members joining SCC through the next newsletter and will discuss membership and positions with Greg.

V.  Cell Tower funding request
Jon made a motion to use $440 from Cell Tower funds to purchase 20 additional IReady licenses, Margot seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.

VI.  Land Trust budget update
Previous request to have 4 additional hours for School Councilor from Cell Tower will be moved to Land Trust with amended plan.  A vote will be taken when the amended plan is presented.

VII. Training dates

Yearly SCC Training will be both online and in-person. You may choose which is best for you. October 1 from 1-2:30 or 6:30 – 8, October 13 from 10-11:30 or 6:30 – 8.  

SCC101 will only be available online, more information to come when it is live.
