Oakdale Growth Attainment 2024-2025

Reviewed goals of at least 80% k-5 will make typical progress on Acadience Pathway of Progress. 

Meeting with teachers Monday after fall break to know how to best support students to hit their goals.  Need to add 7% more to hit benchmark. Making sure the 1st graders are doing the blending kit to move to reading full words. 

Math Goal:  80% of kids will make typical growth. Right now at 64%.Working on continuity with the teachers between grades.  

Safe walking routes:

  • Potential 4 way stop on visconti and telford

Spoke of a new alert system for the teachers in case of an emergency. 

  • Maintain the bumpy catwalk from old coventry to Oakdale
  • Repaint old crosswalks, educate parents on using the crosswalks, put up a rail to keep the parents on the island 
  • Add lighting to the dark west side of the building 
  • Black top needs repair on the eastside of the building 
  • Parking lot on the northeast corner 
  • Exit onto creek has a huge dip and danger is crossing traffic to get to the exit lane. 
  • Speeding issue near west Siesta on Creek Road.
  • Additional parking sign.

Recycle Center bin is going away due to misuse.
